I came across a job ad on LinkedIn from Callum McDonnell, the creator of 'Social First' podcasts. He was recruiting an editor team for a group of podcasts he manages. To apply, I was tasked to review a podcast episode from the Joe Marler Show featuring James Smith, a PT podcaster. From the one-hour episode, I had to create a 30-second teaser and three 60-second shorts. My main inspiration is the teasers made in 'Diary of the CEO', known for its fast, dynamic typography. It was like a physical exercise, pushing my brain to come up with more imaginative edits and graphics on After Effects. I didn’t get the role, but I'm pleased with the results.
